The Meaning of Holarú Blue
The name Holarú Blue says a lot about the idea behind the company. Hola means Hello in Spanish. The aboriginal word Uluru is the name given to the huge rock formation in the centre of Australia.
It is symbolically the Spiritual heart of Australia. Holarú is a play on both words and is fundamentally about the joining of the hearts of both. It is about a love of both places and the desire to share the best of both with each other.

Connection between Australia and Spain
”When I first came to Spain in July of 2004 I did not realise what was going to happen, that I would fall in love with the country and the people. I am an Australian citizen and Australia will always be home. However I have found a second home in Spain. I love both countries and this is the foundation of Holarú Blue S.L.
The initial project that I was working on finished and with the help of my friends I decided to start a company here in Spain with the idea of bringing together the best of both of the countries that I love. To share with either side of the world the things that delight me from both countries.
I am constantly amazed at the similarities between Australian and Spanish people. The cultures and histories are vastly different but the hearts of the people in both countries have striking similarities”.
